"If I had to select one quality, one personal characteristic that I regard as being most highly correlated with success, whatever the field, I would pick the trait of persistence.
Determination.
The will to endure to the end, to get knocked down seventy times and get up off the floor saying, "Here comes number seventy-one!"

of a man he admired,
Mahatma Gandhi.
Both men dedicated to people working together, without violence,
to make the world a fairer place.

Thank you Olive Garden for donating the pasta and sauce to our fund raiser!!! We really appreciate your help...and your food!
Weird Pasta Fact: Pasta may have led directly to the popularity of the fork!
According to The Medieval Kitchen, the fork was in use from the 14th Century in taverns and manors alike, for eating pasta.
Eating food with the fingers and a knife had been common practice, but eating pasta this way is difficult.
Initially, a pointed stick was used to eat hot pasta, but the fork was eminently more practical. (from History of Pasta; see below)
