Maps of Waddell gardens
BACK to Plant Index
There are 9 maps that, when assembled, cover most of the major plantings in the garden. They are sized to print out on one sheet of paper.

You can print out just one and get acquainted with that area by taking the map with you into the garden, or print them all and tape together the whole garden!

There are many plants that are NOT on every map, especially the wild ones that have popped up all over. Add more plants to your map as you find and identify them. If they are common in our garden they are probably identified on at least one of the maps!

Until I sort out the flowers by color so you can have a chance of finding it that way you are on your own.

The maps start with the entrance to the garden, then there are 2 more that border the school building. At that point it goes back to the street and starts the next three, and so forth.

The various labels on the map are "hot".....if you click on them you will go to a page that tells you about that plant (if there is one). This function is being worked on; at this time (Aug. 2001) only Map 1 is done. You can look a plant up by going to the plant index and finding its name though.

Note: These maps print with EAST at the TOP, so NORTH is at Windemere Street to the LEFT.
Draw the points of the compass on your map.
